Description of COBI-2269 Cromwell Mk.IV - WW2 tank
The set is the embodiment of the COBI slogan: "Build history, piece by piece": The WWII Cromwell Mk. IV tank "HELA" featuring the exact markings of the famous command tank of general Stanisław Maczek from the 1st Armored Division (Black Devils) of the Polish Armed Forces fighting alongside the Allies.
Carefully reproduced from 544 bricks, the set was developed in a 1:35 scale matching our figures. All elements of historical markings and details are high-quality prints!
There are no stickers in the set. The tank's functionalities include: an opening hatch, access to the engine, a movable turret, a rotating cannon and working tracks. There is also a plate with the name of the famous tank. The set includes a very carefully designed exclusive figure. General Stanisław Maczek (1892-1994) was an early supporter of Polish armored weapons, a hero of World War II, an outstanding commander of the 1st Polish Armored Division of the Polish Army, which became famous during the fights at Falaise during the invasion of the Allied forces in Normandy in 1944 and in the liberation of the Dutch Breda.
He was also awarded the Knight of the Order of the White Eagle and was an honorary citizen of the Netherlands. The Cromwell tank with a figure of general Maczek is a must for enthusiasts of history, armored weapons and a beautiful model for the collection dedicated to the Second World War.
