A set of a unique block model, the German steam locomotive class 52 from World War II, is part of the new "Trains" collection in the COBI series. The construction of the clamp block perfectly reproduces the entire structure, proportions and details of the legendary steam locomotive, which is probably the most famous among all railway enthusiasts in the world.

The unique camouflage of the vehicle is sure to attract attention. The locomotive appears in a gray color scheme that corresponds to the color of German military locomotives on the Eastern Front during the German attack on the Soviet Union. The set also includes a special figure of a German military locomotive driver.

In addition to detailed details such as symbols, numbering and labels, the locomotive model in 1:35 scale also has numerous impressions of measuring instruments in the locomotive's engine room. Thanks to the easily removable roof in the engine room, you can take a look at the detailed copies of the units that drive the vehicle.

Attention was also paid to such a detail as the imitation of burning coal in the fireplace! Like a real steam locomotive, the entire gear train is interconnected so that they all move simultaneously. Inside the model are gears that form a complex mechanism that ensures realistic movement of the wheels of the entire unit.

Simply press the model gently to move the entire system. Five different wheel versions of the locomotive, some of which include rims with special edges, make the model good on building block tracks and overcome block curves with a gradient scale from R88.

It is worth noting that the model is fully compatible, i.e. H. It fits the tracks of other brands of clamping blocks. The tender, that is, a wagon for transporting coal, among other things, also faithfully corresponds to the real model. Inside it has a depicted fuel composition. It also has torsion wheel wagons and a special coupling to which other wagons can be attached to form a complete train.

The set also includes five sections of a straight track with a total length of about 65 cm. The track is made using a modern two-color injection molding technique, which means that each individual section, approximately 13 cm long, is an element - a monolith - made of two different colors of plastic joined together.

The gray steel rails stand out clearly from the very realistic brown railway sleepers. There are no visible studs (studs) on each threshold, which enhances their realism, and each of them is covered with a board structure, i.e. an imitation of wooden beams. The tracks can be attached to building boards and have a technical hole, thanks to which you can permanently attach the track to the railway diorama with, for example, a screw or a nail. This set is the perfect gift for all history and railway lovers.

Build history, stone by stone! The BR 52 is a German-built freight steam locomotive that was manufactured in many European factories between 1942 and 1945. It was a very cheap, simple but very reliable steam locomotive. The locomotive could pull freight trains with a total weight of up to 620 tons at a speed of 80 km/h or 1,700 tons at a speed of 50 km/h. The locomotive was also used many times to pull passenger trains.
