Facts about the E series of Gripen

A major redesign of the Gripen series, called the JAS 39E/F Gripen but previously called Gripen NG or Super JAS, began deliveries to the Swedish and Brazilian air forces in 2019.

The changes from The C series to the E series includes, among other things, bigger body, a more powerful one
engine, an increased weapon payload capacity and new cockpit, avionics architecture and electronic warfare system.
