Description of COBI-4846 U-Boat XXVII Seehund
COBI-4846 U-Boat XXVII "SEEHUND"
DESCRIPTION
The Seehund (Type XXVII B) was a midget submarine built in Germany at the end of World War II. One of the few surviving ships is exhibited in the Deutsches Marinemuseum.
The U-Boot TYPE XXVII "SEEHUND" block was developed in 1:72 scale. The 1:144 scale used so far for submarines proved to be too small for such a small submarine. The use of the 1:72 scale made it possible to recreate the characteristic shapes of a real ship. All graphic elements are high-quality, durable prints. The set includes a block stand and a plate with the name of the set printed on it. Our historical collection is not complete without this sub! Build history, piece by piece, with COBI.
