Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, abbreviated TMNT or simply Ninja Turtles, often called simply Turtles in Sweden and Ninja Turtles in Finland, is an American cartoon series about four characters who, just as the name indicates, are teenagers, mutants, ninjas and turtles.

Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, trained in the art of ninjutsu by a wise rat sensei they call Master Splinter.
