This block model of HMS Hood is designed in 1:300 scale and faithfully reflects the details of its historical prototype. The battleship is 88cm / 34.6″” long and 22cm / 8.7″” high. It has many moving parts, such as deck guns, rotating artillery turrets, rudders and propellers. The model has received high-quality prints that mimic equipment and camouflage. The prints do not wear off even during intense play. The set includes a black display stand and a white sign with printed model name and scale. HMS Hood was an Admiral-class battlecruiser of the United Kingdom Navy named after Samuel Hood and the largest warship of the British Navy during the Second World War, both in armament and displacement. Later in the war surpassed only by the German battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz, as well as the Japanese Yamato and its sister ship Musashi. She was sunk during the Battle of the Danish Straits by the Bismarck on May 24, 1941.
